Meet Lori...

Born in NJ and raised in Martinsville, Lori is a Manager with a global consumer electronics company where she supports HR transformation.

...and Lisa.

A New Jersey girl via Louisana and Ohio, Lisa moved to Bridgewater at age 7.  Lisa worked for a global consumer goods company in Ohio for over 20 years.  In 2020, she retired and moved back to NJ to open the Double L Franch.

Lori + Lisa = L2.

Friends for 45 years!

 What is a Franch?  Well, it's part farm and part ranch, owned by friends, and we like to be different! 

  The Franch has been our dream since the third grade when we started working with and rescuing our own animals.

After looking for the right place for two years, we found it in beautiful Hunterdon County and moved in just as Covid began.  

Our first rescue joined us in May, 2020 and there's not been a dull moment since.

Each rescue is special in their own unique way.  Some have special needs.  All are cherished and challenging.  We learn something new every day and always find a way to love, laugh, and appreciate this opportunity to give something back.

We will provide a safe, healthy forever home to animals that are neglected, abused, or unwanted.  

We are committed to providing our residents with all the love and peace they deserve.

Thanks to our donors, we've been able to save 22 lives - 5 horses, 11 goats, 1 donkey, 1 dog, and 5 cats.

 Everyone is thriving and living out their best lives, including Lori and Lisa.
